Zone Administrator of South Gondar

Bio graphy brings over twenty years of public service and administrative experience to his role as Zone Administrator. Appointed in [Year, e.g., 2017 E.C.], he has previously served as the Head of the Zone's Agricultural Bureau and as a Woreda Administrator in [Name of Woreda, e.g., Farta Woreda]. He holds a Master's Degree in Public Administration from the University of Gondar and a Bachelor's Degree in Rural Development. Ato Alemayehu is known for his community-focused approach and his commitment to improving rural infrastructure and educational access.

Information

Debub Gondar (or South Gondar) is a Zone in the Ethiopian Amhara Region. 

South Gondar is bordered on the south by East Gojjam, on the southwest by West Gojjam and Bahir Dar, on the west by Lake Tana, on the north by North Gondar, on the northeast by Wag Hemra, on the east by North Wollo, and on the southeast by South Wollo; the Abbay River separates South Gondar from the two Gojjam Zones.

The highest point in South Gondar is Mount Guna (4,231 meters). Towns and cities in this zone include Addis ZemenDebre Tabor and Wereta.
